Users of Snap-on scan tools who upgrade to the latest software release will find their experiences improved to simplify and streamline many workshop processes. Three new electric models have been added – Jaguar I-PACE, Audi e-tron and Mercedes EQC, each with dozens of systems – while new systems for two of the most popular electric vehicles, Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and Nissan Leaf, have also been included. The growth of electric and hybrid vehicle sales in the UK has been reflected in the upgrade with new additions to help businesses deal with the technology they employ. This is supported by a case study about a non-starting IVECO Daily, which joins the dozens of studies already in the software. The addition of IVECO brings with it nine systems and functional tests for the manufacturer, with service special functions including oil change light reset, rail pressure sensor replacement and particle filter regeneration. IVECO has been added as a new manufacturer.Two manufacturers now have all-new Diagnostics Over Internet Protocol (DoIP) coverage – the latest method of communication between the vehicle and the diagnostic platform.Six manufacturers have new advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) coverage.Fifteen manufacturers are updated to model year 2019.Twenty-one new models have been added, including three electric variants.
